Humidex Monitoring

Humidex monitoring in manufacturing plants is becoming ever more important in order to provide a work environment that is conducive to productivity and staff well-being.

Monitor from few to hundreds of long life, battery operated sensors, no need for power outlets.

Following Canadian Centre For Occupational Health and Safety (CCOHS) guidelines, we designed an automated alert system which will notify via email or other means when Humidex is above defined thresholds and outline appropriate actions.

It can be fully customized, work with LCD and other forms of displays as well as integrate with our industrial automation platform.

A mobile and desktop application is provided so that each and every temperature and humidity sensor can be visualized as if it was a manual one, all at the palm of your hands.

No need to walk within the plant checking thermostats, do it from the office.

Performance charts can be displayed, per sensor so that a more in depth analysis can be performed and determine efficient ways to control the factors affecting Humidex levels.

All captured data can be downloaded and imported into business analytics systems. Custom integration is also available.

With our proprietary software and hardware designs we have created an affordable solution that is environmentally friendly and future ready.

High Humidex can be harmful

There are several common heat-related illnesses. Some are more severe than others.

Heat rash, or prickly heat, occurs when blocked sweat glands become inflamed.

Heat cramps are painful spasms of the muscles.

Heat exhaustion results when the body loses large amounts of fluid by sweating during work in hot environments.

Heat stroke is the most serious condition and requires immediate medical attention.
